Nordic BioBuilt was born from a personal desire to make a difference through what we build. We want to create homes where architecture, indoor climate and care for our shared surroundings are considered together from the very first sketch.

A passionate founder stands behind Nordic BioBuilt.

My name is Thomas Høyer. I have many years of experience in the construction industry and a deep commitment to finding more responsible ways to build.

To me, Nordic BioBuilt is more than a company. It is my way of using my experience to do something I believe in.

I love building. I love seeing an idea become a home and knowing that the choices we make along the way will affect people for many years. At the same time, I feel a responsibility for the resources we use and the impact we leave behind.

That is why I started Nordic BioBuilt.

I want to help make bio-based construction a natural and accessible choice for more people. I want to bring together good materials, proven solutions and skilled people and turn them into homes that work in real life.

I believe we can make a difference through our expertise. And I find it hard to stand back when I see an opportunity to do something better.

We work with timber and bio-based materials because we see great potential in building with resources that can grow again. Materials must suit the specific task, and the structures must be carefully designed and robust.

We want to make proven bio-based solutions simpler to manufacture and quicker to build with. This should help us combine quality, responsible use of resources and sensible construction costs.
